About This Messaging Program

Preferred Services sends SMS text messages for one purpose only: notifying our own employed transport drivers when a new dispatch assignment has been created for them. Each message contains the assignment call number and a link to the driver's dispatch application.

This is an internal, employment-related notification program. We do not send marketing or promotional messages, and we do not send text messages to customers, funeral homes, or the general public. The only people who receive messages from this number are our employees.

How Consent Is Collected

Consent is collected electronically, inside our driver dispatch application. Each transport driver signs in to the application with their individual company Google account. Before the application can be used, the driver is presented with the SMS authorization shown below and must make an explicit choice:

• To opt in, the driver enters or confirms their own mobile number, checks a box confirming they have read and agree to the authorization language, and types their full name as an electronic signature.
• To opt out, the driver selects "No thanks — email only." Declining is always permitted, is recorded the same way, and dispatch assignments are then communicated by email or phone call instead.

Each choice is recorded in a restricted, append-only consent log retained by the company: the date and time, the driver's identity and company account, the mobile number they provided, the choice made, the typed-name signature, and the exact version of the authorization text in effect. If the authorization language ever changes, every driver is re-prompted and must consent again before any further messages are sent. Text messages are sent only to drivers whose most recent record on file is an opt-in.

• Reply STOP to any message to immediately unsubscribe from SMS notifications.
• Drivers can also change their choice at any time — in either direction — from the Help page of the driver application, which re-opens the same authorization step; the new choice is recorded in the consent log.
• Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the information below.
• Message frequency varies with dispatch volume. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan.

Privacy

Mobile numbers, consent records, and message contents are used solely to operate the dispatch notification program described above. Consent records are kept in a restricted log that only the dispatch system itself can write to. Messages are intentionally minimal — a call number and a link to the driver application — and never contain case details or personal information about the deceased or their families.
