Preferred Services is a mortuary transport service serving funeral homes, Gift of Life and medical examiner offices across the State of Michigan. This policy describes the information we collect through this website, our internal dispatch tools (the dispatcher console and driver application used by our employees), and our SMS dispatch notification program — and how that information is used, shared, and protected.

Information We Collect

• Employee mobile phone numbers. We collect our employed transport drivers' mobile numbers during employee onboarding, with their written consent, for one purpose: sending SMS text notifications of new dispatch assignments.
• Employee Google account identity. When an employee signs in to our internal dispatch tools with Google, we receive their name and email address solely to confirm they are an authorized employee and to control access to the tools.
• Operational dispatch data. Our internal tools record the business information employees enter or are assigned — dispatch details, pickup and destination information, case reports, and similar records needed to run the service.

This website itself does not use forms, accounts, or advertising trackers, and does not collect personal information from visitors.

SMS Text Messaging

• Consent. Drivers provide written consent to receive these messages during employee onboarding. See our SMS program disclosure & proof of consent for the consent language and a sample message.
• Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to immediately stop receiving SMS notifications, or reply HELP for assistance. You can also contact us using the information at the bottom of this page. Opting out does not affect employment; dispatch assignments are instead communicated by email or phone call.
• Frequency & rates. Message frequency varies with dispatch volume. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan.
• No third-party sharing. Mobile numbers, SMS consent records, and text message opt-in data are not shared with, sold to, or accessed by any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.

How Information Is Used

Information is used only to operate our dispatch service: authenticating employees, assigning and completing dispatches, notifying drivers of assignments by SMS and email, generating case-report documents, and delivering them to the relevant funeral home. We do not use any of this information for advertising.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information is not shared with outside parties except:

• Service providers that run our systems — such as the Google cloud, email, and storage services behind our dispatch tools, and our SMS delivery provider — which process information only as needed to deliver the service.
• Funeral homes, which receive completed case reports as part of the normal workflow.
• As required by law.

As stated above, mobile numbers and SMS consent records are never shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
